Terms of Service

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, and in accordance with the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or any content within it.

2. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App or any part thereof
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the App
• Use the App to transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data

3. Health & Medical Disclaimer

The UV tracking, skin protection reminders, and sunscreen ingredient analysis provided by the App are for informational and general wellness purposes only. The App's recommendations are based on publicly available UV index data and general SPF guidelines — they do not account for individual medical conditions, medications, or other personal health factors.

You should always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional for advice specific to your skin health. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the App. We assume no liability for any health outcomes resulting from your use of or reliance on the App.

4. Accuracy of Data

UV index data is sourced from Apple WeatherKit and is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that UV readings, protection timers, or ingredient analyses are complete, accurate, reliable, or suitable for your specific situation. Environmental conditions, cloud cover, altitude, and surface reflectivity can all affect actual UV exposure and may not be fully captured by the data.

You acknowledge that you use this information at your own risk and that the App is a supplementary tool, not a substitute for sound sun-safety judgment.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, text, code, and all other content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by us.

"reSPF" and associated logos are trademarks of the developer. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Apple WeatherKit and Apple CloudKit. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service.

8. No Warranties

We provide the App as-is and make no promises about it. Specifically, we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, work without interruption, or be free of bugs. We also do not guarantee that the UV data, protection timers, or ingredient analyses will always be accurate or suitable for your specific needs.

You use the App at your own discretion. If something doesn't work as expected, your main remedy is to stop using the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

reSPF is provided free of charge as an informational tool. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for any losses or harm that result from your use of or inability to use the App — for example, if a reminder didn't arrive on time, UV data was inaccurate, or an ingredient analysis was incomplete.

This includes losses that are indirect or unforeseeable, such as health-related costs, loss of income, or loss of data. Because the App is free, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Indonesia.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices. Sections 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 shall survive any termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Indonesia.

13. Apple-Specific Terms

The following terms apply specifically to your use of the App obtained through the Apple App Store:

• Parties: These Terms are between you and the developer only. Apple is not a party to these Terms.
• Maintenance & Support: Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. We are solely responsible for any support.
• Warranty: Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App. In the event of any failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the App.
• Product Claims: We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, intellectual property infringement claims, and any other claims.
• Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
